So many people have helped with the Fly:Back In History project, and I am very thankful for all the guidance and assistance I have received along the way. First off, I want to thank my husband for his words of wisdom and continued support throughout this project. Thank you to my editor-in-chief and the best dad for looking over the history articles. Thank you to my dear family friend, Mrs. Abbie, for her guidance in conducting an oral history project. Thank you to my Chief Recruiting Officer, Mrs. Marion, for connecting me with many individuals in the community, and of course Mr. Wilson Fly for his guidance and assistance in helping to make this project possible. Thank you to Mrs. Nett and the staff at Nett’s Country Store for allowing me to conduct interviews at her fabulous country store. And lastly, many thanks to Mr. Duncan and the Maury County Archives for providing me with so many community resources, history, and wonderful old photographs of our area. Thank you!
